MAY

Here is the rest of what we did in May. On Mother's Day James and Ellery made me feel really special. They spoiled me with these earrings and this patio chair.

This was Saige's idea. "Wrap Saigey up" she told me. So cute!

This baby is growing! At her 4 month check up, she weighed 12 pounds.

Ellery loves watering with Dad. We are finally getting the hang of getting yard work done with baby. Sometimes we bring her swing outside while we work.

 Hangin with Aunt Shelby
First kiss?! This is friend Sean.
Great Grandpa and Grandma visited twice this month.

We planted a few tomato plants and some basil. We had to use these deep wire baskets to keep the gophers from eating the roots.

Someday (maybe next year) we want to build an actual vegetable garden with a deer fence and raised beds. We also want to build a garden shed. And a chicken coop. One thing at a time I guess.

Ellery is doing really well at sitting in her booster seat now. She loves being at our level while we eat. And she is definitely eyeing our food now too.
Somebody is such a good stander!
At the end of May we had a bunch of family in town to celebrate Shelby's graduation from her masters program. After the ceremony, we had a big BBQ on the back deck.

The following day we celebrated Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary with a surprise train ride from Felton Roaring Camp to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, and then a picnic at Wilder Ranch.

Shannon was able to fly out from Colorado to join us!
 60 years! Pretty amazing.

I made these peanut butter filled chocolate cupcakes. They were unreal.
Heather made the girls these memorial day outfits.

April and Ellery are just starting to interact.

"Enough pictures already, pick us up!"
