Fun at Grandpa's Cabin

We went up to my dad's cabin this last weekend. There wasn't as much snow as we had hoped for, but we still got some sledding in and enjoyed hiking around. Ellery had a blast with Grandpa. She isn't walking yet, but she can climb stairs like it's nobody's business. And Grandpa had some really fun stairs, so she was up and down them all weekend. She also stood and balanced herself without holding onto anything for the first time (that we've witnessed).

SEPTEMBER

 "I'm growing!" This is Ellery at 8 months. She is one stinkin happy girl. If she wasn't so much fun, maybe I'd have more time to blog ;)

 This is Turk, our housemates' pet turkey who stayed with us for a few weeks. He was a pretty friendly guy, but eventually it was time to let him go be with his wild turkey friends.

Auntie Marisa has really long hair to pull!

 You can see here that her right eye is still half blue and half brown! We're excited that it seems like it's going to stay that way!
