10 Little Rubber Ducks

Bedtime stories with Dad. Ellery is so captivated!

"That is so silly that the ducks have to come all the way across the sea on a boat!"

"NO! The rubber ducks fell off the boat!"

"Oh good they can swim!"

"I'm so glad the rubber duck found a mother duck"

New discoveries

Ellery has discovered her fist. She won't take a pacifier, but she sure will try to put her whole fist in her mouth. Occasionally it's just a couple fingers, but more often she seems to be trying to get the whole thing in there. It makes her happy.

She has also become so much more interactive lately, and I realized, it's time for some toys! We just got this toy arch that can hook onto a carseat or stroller or her swing. She loves it! She will be so focused on hitting the toy in the middle, and then she'll be so happy about hitting it! If she hits it hard enough it plays music, which she managed to do 3 times today.

Ellery at 11 weeks. She's starting to experiment with her voice more.

This is also at 11 weeks.

Our friend Robyn made this super cute owl beanie!

Bath time has gotten so much more enjoyable. It was probably around 8 weeks that she started to like baths more. Now we look forward to bath time!

9 weeks. The shadow behind her head looks like a mullet doesn't it?!
